United Medical Clinic Lisboa (UMCL LDA)
1. General Information
United Medical Clinic Lisboa (UMCL LDA) is a private multidisciplinary medical clinic registered in Portugal.

The clinic provides medical services to adults and children, including international patients and tourists.
2. Services
- Consultations with specialists
- Diagnostic procedures (including laboratory tests, ultrasound, allergy testing, etc.)
- Telemedicine consultations
- Home visits
- Vaccination and preventive procedures

3. Appointments and Cancellations
- Appointments can be made via phone, website, social media (Instagram, Facebook), or WhatsApp.
- Patients must notify the clinic at least 24 hours in advance to cancel an appointment. Failure to do so may result in the full cost being charged or future services requiring prepayment.
- If a patient is more than 10 minutes late, the clinic reserves the right to shorten or cancel the appointment without refund.
- Patients with a history of no-shows or late cancellations will only be served on a prepayment basis.
3.1. Appointment Confirmation
If a patient does not confirm their appointment and fails to respond to messages or calls from the clinic, the clinic reserves the right to cancel the appointment.
4. Prepayment
- For appointments with all narrow specialists and ultrasound
- For all telemedicine consultations
- For home visits
- For patients with a history of missed or late appointments
Accepted prepayment methods: bank transfer, PayPal. The appointment is confirmed only after payment is received.
5. Payment and Refunds
- Payment is due after the visit, unless prepayment is required.
- Accepted payment methods: Cash, Multibanco, MB Way, Bank cards, Bank transfer, PayPal.
Refunds are only available if the service could not be provided due to reasons caused by the clinic or for reasons beyond the patient's control. All other cases are considered individually.
6. Insurance Companies
The clinic has direct agreements with the following companies:

- AXA Global Healthcare
For other insurance providers, the clinic issues a full set of documents for reimbursement (reembolso).
7. Personal Data and Privacy
The clinic strictly complies with GDPR and Portuguese data protection laws. Patients sign a consent form for personal data processing before receiving services. The privacy policy is available on the website and via a link sent through messaging apps.
Patient data is managed using the certified iMed medical system. All data is stored encrypted on servers located in the EU. Details are provided in the document "Personal Data Processing Policy."
8. Special Conditions
- All procedures are performed on an outpatient basis. The clinic does not offer inpatient services.
- Patients must provide accurate information and follow medical recommendations.
- The clinic reserves the right to refuse service in case of aggressive behavior, rule violations, or refusal to pay.
- All procedures are carried out only with the patient's written or verbal consent.
9. Jurisdiction and Language
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
This document is provided in Russian, Portuguese, and English. In the event of discrepancies, the Portuguese version shall prevail.
