basic health check-up for women aged 45+

A structured check-up helps you maintain your quality of life, notice changes early, and understand which body systems need extra support.

Why is a check-up important?

To monitor processes that affect how you feel. Some changes in the female body — especially hormonal ones — can begin subtly yet eventually have a major impact on daily well-being. At this age, women also become more vulnerable to atherosclerosis, which is why it is important to assess the lipid profile.

To detect disease at an early stage. After age 45, the risk of cardiovascular and oncologic diseases increases, and it is crucial to identify them while they can still be treated without significant long-term consequences.

To identify deficiencies that affect quality of life. Vitamin and micronutrient deficiencies can reduce your energy levels. A check-up helps reveal what your body is lacking.

What makes this check-up different?

The diagnostic program focuses on age-related changes that influence quality of life. It is based on evidence-based clinical guidelines from leading European medical centers.

The check-up helps identify serious conditions at early, often asymptomatic stages. At the same time, you only need one in-clinic visit at UMC for all tests and imaging; results are then discussed later during an online follow-up at a convenient time.

What risks can the check-up help identify?

Early signs of:

  • cervical cancer
  • intestinal diseases
  • metabolic syndrome

  • Thyroid dysfunction
  • Cardiovascular risk factors
  • Kidney function impairment
  • Liver disease
  • Vitamin D and iron deficiency
  • Calcium metabolism disorders
